De richtlijn stelt minimumvereisten aan het recht van werknemers op informatie en raadpleging, onder meer over de economische situatie, de werkgelegenheid en besluiten die tot belangrijke veranderingen in de arbeidsorganisatie kunnen leiden.

Key point: Europese ondergrens onder de WOR; relevant bij uitleg van informatie- en adviesrechten.
